Cristina+Primoz | Toronto Centre Island | Engagement Session

We put together this quick video from a recent engagement session that Marek and I photographed at the Centre Island in Toronto. Cristina and Primoz were a blast to work with and had a fantastic idea for the photo shoot. They rented the canoe and a pontoon boat and off we went. It was a bit chilly and Cristina didn’t let the cold weather bug her one bit. I also decided to take a splash in the water… hey why not… whatever it takes to get that Great Shot.

You can see more behind the scenes shots from this shoot on our Facebook Page

Anna+Andrew | Collingwood | e-session

I had a wild time photographing Anna and Andrew’s engagement session this summer. They both live in Collingwood and wanted to take the pictures up there. I absolutely love Collingwood, the 1.5 hour drive up from Toronto is a relaxing one and think that there are a lot of great places to shoot at. Since Andrew also works in town he had a special place in mind for the photo shoot, the forbidden Castle Glen. What none of us knew was how crazy the photo session would become.

Andrea+Vojtek | Liberty Village, Toronto | Engagement Session

Andrea and Vojtek were looking for something specific for their engagement photo session. They wanted an architectural back drop, old brick buildings, steel archway’s “you know never-never land” (direct quote from Vojtek :-) ) When I read that the perfect place came to my mind. We’ve shot at the Liberty Village several of times this year and I knew that this was the perfect spot for the engagement session. We spent around 2 hours shooting in various places and captured some great shots that will be displayed in a… ooops… almost revealed a secret there. I’ll show you guys in a few weeks time after the wedding, which will take place in less than two weeks from now (Sept. 24).

It really was one of the warmest days we had this year and it was great to kick back and relax a the School Bakery & Cafe on Fraser Ave. If you have not had a chance to try the “Lemon Tea” I recommend you do so… It’s not really tea, it’s a BEER, and a nice one in fact.
