One of the really fun things about doing what we do in this day and age is that it’s become so easy to share ideas and images. Not only our own stuff, but other people’s as well! And so a few months back, Paul and myself joined Pinterest and started pinning away, and getting inspired. There really is so much beautiful stuff on there!

When I started really getting into it, I thought: wow, this is neat for me to keep track of what I like, but it would also be a great way to share resources, tips, tricks, and other things, with our couples. And so for the past little while, I’ve been telling everyone about those awesome boards of ours. We hope you enjoy them, and that, who knows, maybe some of the things you see on there make it into your wedding! :)

Warning: Pinterest is seriously addictive! It can consume you, and you may find yourself pinning in the middle of the night to try and combat insomnia. But don’t be fooled: you can never pin enough, it’s like a bottomless pit… of awesomeness! :D

I had a fantastic wedding on Saturday June 4th (blog post to come shortly) that could have ended on a bad note for me. It kind of did… but could have been a lot worse. When I arrived home after midnight I wanted to unload my gear as fast as possible, charge my batteries and backup my memory cards on to the studio computer knowing that I had an engagement session in the morning. Well I guess I was a bit too fast grabbing my bag out of the SUV and I must have forgot to zip up my laptop compartment because I sent my MacBook Pro flying across the driveway. It landed on the corner and continued to topple over coming to a rest 8 feet away from me. My heart jumped to my throat and the first thing I did was flip the lid open…. and voila!!!! the screen shined brightly and all was well. Besides the cosmetic “modification” this MacBook Pro received everything is as good as new. One heck of an aluminum unibody this thing has.

I finally had a night at the movies with Ania last night. We went to the advanced screening of Something Borrowed which plays in theaters on May 6th. Yes it’s a chick-flick, and yes I did enjoy the movie :-) I enjoy my share of chick-flicks and this one was light hearted romantic comedy. Both Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin looked stunning and played excellent roles. The same can be said for John Krasinski and Colin Egglesfield.

Overall we all had our share of good laughs and the movie provided much needed entertainment. I recommend this flick and give it the thumbs up. Enjoy!
