Been very excited about sharing these images from Winnie and Jason’s wedding for a while now. These two lovebirds both went to Queen’s University, and eventually met at Telus in Toronto (hence why we did their engagement session there). Now, four years and one Bermuda proposal later, they’ve finally tied the knot!
Full-of-life, fun-and-quirky, food-loving Winnie and Jason’s beautiful wedding day took place at the Old Mill in Ancaster, with a stint at Tiffany Falls for some couple photos. Together with Marek, I had a wonderful time photographing their special day, one that was filled with beautiful sunlight, candid moments, and a whole lot of yellow – seriously, check out those groomsmen socks and yellow ‘bridal’ boots!
Hope you enjoy the images as much as we enjoyed shooting them!
We chose the Toogood pond in Unionville for the engagement shoot with Jacqueline and Justin. Once again the weather co-oporated and we were able to get some nice afternoon light. Deep yellow and long textured shadows on the ground.
For this engagement photography session my second shooter, Marek Krupa came out with us, but instead of shooting stills he shot the behind the scenes video of the whole engagement session. Here it is, hope you enjoy!
Here are some of the finished engagement shots:
Thanks for the awesome session you two. Can’t wait for your June wedding!

Soon Andrew’s groomsmen will arrive and he will begin getting ready to make memories on his big day, and capture them on film for decades to come. But even before he slips on his tuxedo, adorns his lapel with a boutonniere, or even changes out of his t-shirt, a lifelong relationship is instantly captured on film.
As Andrew’s mom is about to leave to get ready, she is overcome with emotion and a tear rolls down her cheek. Immediately she wraps her arms around her son’s neck and embraces him. Arms entwined, cheeks pressed up against one another, Andrew and his mom share a loving embrace. When Toronto wedding photographer Paul Koziorowski of one² photography sees it unfold, he doesn’t hesitate. Quickly, he raises his camera shoots. And in that same instant, the lifelong bond between a son and his mom is recorded…. Click here to read the full article.
NOTE: It mentions in the interview “captured on film” I just want to clarify that it was meant in a metaphorical way as I shoot all of my weddings using only digital equipment.
I had an opportunity to work with Nisha from Nisha Chandra Events back in September. She asked me to photograph her amazing decor at the Kismet Wedding Show.
